Hi!

Here to help.

I understand this is a Macbook pro 2016?

There was an error connecting to the> "apple id server", I guess.

Q:

  • do you see the date/time? Is it correct?
  • if it is > see below
  • if it is not:

Use macOS Recovery on an Intel-based Mac - Apple Support

Go to recovery,

Open Terminal from the menu bar menu (utilities).

In Terminal, after the "prompt" (a rectangle after something like #bash or #zsh)

type:

DATE

(enter)

> incorrect?

type:

DATE MM/DD/HR/MM/YY (eg: 10/22/01:31/23 = 22 October 1:31 AM 2023)

(enter)

BELOW:

If the date is correct:

open Terminal in recovery.

at the prompt, type:

resetPassword

(enter)

follow instructions.

Hope this helps!
