Can I use the new iMac (24" M3) as a full use display w/ my new MacBook Pro (M2 Pro)?

If I buy the new iMac (M3), from time to time I would like to use it as the display for my MacBook M2 Pro (16"). Not just mirroring my display, but using the camera and speakers (especially for Webex, Zoom, or Teams conference calls). Is this supported? If so, how?

This is not supported. There were only a few iMac models that could ever function in Target Display Mode. None of the current generation can do that.

The 27" Apple 5K Studio Display (2022) is a standalone display.

16" M2 {Pro/Max} MacBook Pros are among the computers compatible with it. Note that since this monitor has high resolution, Thunderbolt input, and no "on-monitor" menu controls for things like brightness, it is really only compatible with the Macs and iPads listed on the Technical Specifications page.

That is, it's not as platform-neutral as most {DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C (DisplayPort)} monitors.
