A world showed uo asking for wifi then password for my computer and nothing happens just keeps asking for password

Are you using a wired or wireless KB & Mouse?

You generally need a Wired USB Keyboard to get past this.

Why isn't the wifi password being accepted before it begins the diagnostics? I'm attempting to run diagnostics on a 2017 Macbook Pro with Intel chip (obviously).
