You can't block those because they are not ads. They are how the website wants you to sign into their site.

Hi Shandrika, Did you ever get the pop up problem resolved? I started getting the same thing last week. Every time I search on Google it comes up with “Do you want to use the Google app”. I am so fed up with Google right now. Let me know what worked for you.

That's an entirely different situation. You're not being asked to sign in to a website using your Google credentials. Rather, the browser is asking if you want to use an app instead.

The solution is to use a different search engine that doesn't ask that. Try DuckDuckGo.

There's no way to block that, the only way is to not go to the google page for a search for example, or try with an ad blocker

They are not all pop-ups, so you can block pop-ups but not auto-play videos or some adverts. But you can try to clear the website cache of safari and toggle off/on the pop-up toggle
