How to fix "No Internet Connection" error on App Store after iOS 17.1.1 update

After updating to iOS 17.1.1 on my iPhone 12 Pro App Store gives the message "No internet connection". And yes, there is internet connection. I am on wifi. All other apps work as far as I can tell.

If you're getting a "No Internet Connection" error on the App Store after updating to iOS 17.1.1, but other apps are working fine, try these steps:


1. Check cellular data settings by going to Settings > App Store and ensure that cellular data is enabled if you're not on Wi-Fi.

2. Sign out and back in by going to Settings > [your name] > Media & Purchases, then tap sign out. Restart your phone and sign back in.

3. Reset network settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset Wi-Fi, cellular, and VPN settings.

Fix: I had this error on several apps after ‘restoring from backup’ to a secondhand iPhone 12 max. I use Proton VPN. After trying several fixes from the good folk online, nothing worked. So I was poking around in Settings, wandered into General/VPN&DeviceManagement, deleted both VPN profiles and ta-dah! Magic. It all worked again. Even the VPN app.

TL;DR – This solution worked for me! “Reset Network Settings” was the cure.


I’ve been struggling for DAYS with the connection on my phone vs other devices - didn’t make sense why my other devices were performing fine but not my iPhone 15 Pro. The solve was Reset Network. Thank you, thank you, thank you
