Adding iOS shortcuts to documents

I am seeking to embed iOS shortcuts into a note in Craft. But I think my question is more general. Can I embed an iOS shortcut into documents in general. Is this kind of functionality commonly/rarely/never supported?

Not exactly sure what you're looking for, so here are some thoughts:

  • Are you looking for actions from the Craft app to add to a Shortcut? If so, those actions are provided by the developer, so your best course of action is to contact them and advocate for the additional feature.
  • If you're trying to add a link to a specific Shortcut you created within your Craft document, you Run a shortcut using a URL scheme on iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the link.

The functionality offered by iOS shortcuts is not clear to me. I get the idea of putting shortcuts onto the home page and that’s great. But I have seen references to putting shortcuts elsewhere. So what I’m looking for is a way to invoke a shortcut for, say, Craft from within another app (e.g. a Notes note or some other text-based app).

Does this functionality exist? Does it even make sense? If it does, I’m guessing it’s up to the calling app to make this available?

Thanks
