ive never gotten voicemails because i never set up my voicemail on purpose, now all of a sudden people are able to leave me voicemails. Why? And then every person i have call my phone in my presence isn’t given the option to leave a voicemail, so how am i getting voicemail notifications?

You HAVE to report this every single time to Apple through the feedback app. My phone companies (I left one over this issue when they swore Apple was doing it, not them) have both verified that I never setup VM. Idk how or why they’re doing this but it’s a blatant violation of our privacy and a security issue. Idk where these “voicemails” are being stored. Idk HOW Apple is allowed to access information they have never been given permission to access. It’s been going on almost 3 years. Sometimes it stops- usually after I file a feedback complaint, then it returns again a few weeks later.

Ask your carrier. Voicemail is a carrier feature.
