Add To Playlists Not Working Properly

Since the latest update of Apple Music (I currently have Version 1.4.2.83 installed), the add-to-playlist feature does not work properly. I have multiple playlists within the Apple Music library, but when I want to add a music track to a playlist, it only shows me the option to create a new playlist and not any of the available playlists. Is there a way to fix this? I have included a screenshot to show that I have playlists and what the right-click action does.

Yes, I've been doing the 'drag and drop' step to get tracks into playlists, but Apple needs to fix this issue. Users shouldn't have to go through this step when there is a feature that's supposed to handle this already.

I am experiencing the same issue - thought I was doing something wrong but I guess its some new problem created by the new OS sadly

There have been some reports as yours. Let Apple know: Product Feedback - Apple

In the meantime you should be able to drag the song into the playlist.

Have the same issue. Looks like Apple broke something in the latest macOS minor/patch version.

The Music app on the Mac is getting worse every major OS update. They keep taking away useful features.

The app is not listed under macOS apps, where do you report? Apple Music as service? (problem is I'm not subcribed to Apple Music, I have my own collection)

I have the same problem. At least Recently Added now works as it did prior to the 'only show 60 items' change, which I love and use daily. So, there's that.

Maybe a change to how playlists are defined? The New Playlist functionality was a bit different.

Honestly, in spite of the occasional miss, I really enjoy Music (as iTunes before) to manage my library and listen to music. It's always running, or at least up.
