"Oh no! We can't fit everything on your screen"

Sometimes on my iPhone 15 Pro I get this message "Oh no! We can't fit everything on your screen". Then when I rotate the phone the same message appears in the rotated screen. No matter what I do I can't get rid of the message to go back to the app I was working on. This only seems to happen (occasionally) on New York Times "Wordle".
