Restore iPad.

I have an iPad that I have never used myself. It was used by two different employees when I owned a business. I want to use it now for myself, but the 6-digit passcode that I have does not work. I only have 4 spaces to enter a passcode.

I really don't know which version of iPad I have, but I chose one just to complete the form.

If you do not have the Apple ID Password for the device, you will not be able to unlock it for your use unless you can provide the original receipt from Apple showing your name and serial number of the device. Resetting the passcode will require this Apple ID Password in order to restore the device.

This is the process to reset the passcode, but like I said, if you do not know the Apple ID Password used when initially setting it up it will forever be locked to the original owner unless they have removed it from their account.
