Beats studio buds+ making loud noise randomly

I got a new pair of beats studio buds+ today and they were fine for the few hours ive been using them. I had them in noise cancel mode for a little while, but a few minutes ago, both buds made a loud noise individually, kind of a buzzing/ beeping, a minite or so apart, it was breif, and has only happened once and i took it off noise cancelling mode and it was fine. I reset the earbuds and haven’t yet tried them in noise cancelling again. Can someone explain why this happened and if i can fix it or should i return them for a new pair?
