Vision Pro Windows are angled even after being "centered"

For me, in addition to all windows being angled, they are also rotated slightly clockwise. Very annoying.

I am having the same problem with the left side seeming to be tilted away from me. None of the recommended fixes work.

I'm having an issue where the top of the window is wider than the bottom of the window. Like the plane that they are projecting on is skewed somehow and large at the top than the bottom.

Worried it's a hardware issue, it wasn't doing it last night but today it is.

Hopefully it's a software not a hardware issue!

It looks like many people seem to be experiencing this issue, so it's probably a software bug. Apple just released visionOS 1.0.3, so try updating.

Same issue, the left side of the screen is angled away. I have Ziess lenses, it was fine when I got it today and set it up, once I took it off and started again it is angled and I can't change it. Tried redoing eye calibration, repairing lenses. Updated software. No luck

This happened to me as well. Try this: tilt your head left or right while grabbing the window. (don't twist your head, tilt it, like you're looking at something curiously). It may take a couple of tries to get it where you want but it fixed the one side being farther forward for me.

Apple Vision Pro Prescription Inserts: A Tale of Woes and Wonders

Dear Apple Community,

I recently purchased a pair of Apple Vision Pro, and while I absolutely adore them, I've encountered a series of issues with the prescription inserts. Allow me to regale you with my saga of frustration and fascination.

Off-centered inserts: No matter how many times I've tried to adjust them, the prescription inserts just won't stay centered. It's like they have a mind of their own, and they're determined to make my vision experience as off-kilter as possible.

Left-to-right stretching: As if the off-centeredness wasn't enough, the inserts also cause a stretching effect from left to right. It's like I'm living in a Salvador Dalí painting, but without the artistic charm.

Vanishing prescription numbers: The prescription numbers displayed on the Apple Vision Pro seem to be playing a game of hide-and-seek with me. They appear, disappear, and sometimes even morph into completely different numbers. It's a mystery worthy of Sherlock Holmes.

Disappointing Apple Store experience: My visit to the Apple Store at Aventura Mall left much to be desired. Despite their best efforts to measure my glasses and provide new inserts, the issues persisted. To make matters worse, they didn't even take note of my problem or acknowledge my appointment.

Despite these challenges, I've decided to keep my Apple Vision Pro because, well, they're just too darn awesome. I'll be returning the prescription inserts and using the device without them, even if it means sacrificing a bit of visual clarity.

So, dear Apple Community, I share my story in the hopes that others can learn from my experience and perhaps even offer some advice or support. Together, we can continue to explore the wonders of the Apple Vision Pro, one quirky adventure at a time!

I received my Vision Pro yesterday and immediately noticed the windows were tilted down and back to the left. It was distracting and took away from the experience of Vision Pro. I typically try to fix/trouble shoot these issues myself before calling Apple but since I am in my return window I called support.

The bad news is they didn't fix it-- the good new is that the tech rep did experience what I was seeing by joining the call and sharing the session. He suggested a reset--which didn't work etc. Since I wasn't using the prescription lens yet (still on order) the Support rep wanted me to wait and see what impact, if any, the lens had and based on all of your experiences I am not optimistic.

I also did find the tilting of the head while holding the bar to help somewhat. Also when setting up the Vision Pro the second time I was very careful to keep my head steady and straight when setting up the initial eyes and hands process-which also may have helped a little. Now I am spending too much time trying to straighten windows than enjoying the content but my OCD still focuses on it

There was also an interesting measuring process for the light shield that I wanted to share with you. When I went in for my demo and my fitting they said I needed a 33W light shield. However, when I went online to order the lenses the Apple site said I needed 25W. I tried a couple more times and went back to the store where the store trainer said use the ones we gave you. I said -- test me again. After he put my glasses in their testing device and re-scanned my face it did suggest the 25W. By-the-way I tested the size without glasses on which seemed to be inconsistent from the two stores I visited. So I wonder if the light shield may be causing the issue and we are using the wrong size with lenses.

If we don't get a fix for this I will return the device but I hope that is the last resort..

Same issue with the tilt to the left. My question: Is anyone with this issue also experiencing more nausea? It has been happening more often to me and I'm wondering if there is a connection. (I'm not one to normally have motion sickness.)

Has anyone tried a factory reset? I suspect this may be an issue with firmware calibration, unfortunately. A visit to the Apple Store for replacement hardware is my next step.

I also have this issue. It is even apparent in screenshots… hoping this can be resolved with a software update.

I use 1.50-1.75 power Zeiss reader lenses

I’m not using any insert (readers or lenses), though I could see how using those might only make the problem worse.
