ESPN widget is not working on my iPhone

The ESPN iOS widget is only available on the Today View page. Go to the bottom of the Today View page, click "Edit" to go into jiggle mode, then go back down to the bottom and click "Customize." Then click the green + sign next to ESPN. At this point in time the widget is worthless if you're tracking favorite teams. Another Reddit user claims that it works fine if you're just tracking scores of random teams/leagues.

I do not have a Widget for my ESPN app on my iPhone 12 Pro iOS 17.3

Yes, I've been experiencing this issue for a couple of weeks now, as have many others. ESPN app developers just say that it's "a known issue that they're looking into." There's a Reddit thread regarding this issue (link below):

So I deleted the widget and then the app then restarted my phone, downloaded the app, went to add the widget back and now the ESPN widget isn’t even listed 🙄
