Why is Apple Vision Pro blurry around the periphery?

Anytime I am looking at a window or watching a movie the Apple Vision Pro is blurry except in the center and also blurry if I’ve moved my head. I assume this is due to keep the center of field of view as sharp as possible within the limits of the processing power.

The other issue I’ve noticed is that if you have a window open with a white background with black lettering there is a lot of bleed through of the real environment around your hands in front of the window. This bleed through happens all the time it’s just more pronounced under that situation. Normally it’s like a dark halo around the hands and is very distracting.

Also if you try to use the pinch move with a white background window text it tends not to work as well.

Most of what you’re describing is considered normal by Apple. The pinching not working as usual on white backgrounds is interesting, I would reach out to Apple Support and they may have you swap out your device: Apple Vision Pro - Official Apple Support
