I recently updated my ipad to iOS 17.4. After the update I was able to use apple Books to read epub files as normal. After closing the app fully though and trying to open the files, they now won't open at all. I can't get them to open from my library or from the continue reading section. Anyone else having problems or know the fix?

Same problem after 17.4.1. When 17.5.1 became available I updated the iPad but nothing in books will open. Apple has a introduced a problem but won’t/can't a knowledge it fix it… Thanks Apple for the new problem that current Apple responses that I see are ridiculous..

My iPad is running ios17.4.1 and when I open books and click on an entry nothing happens. I cannot open I cannot open a book or a pdf which is aggravating.
This action worked for me. Had to wait a few minutes for my books to reappear in iBooks, but they’re all there. Thank you!
