Tried to ask Siri to read incoming text, his circle comes on and stays on, until IPhone 11 screen saver comes on. Ive power cycled, disabled/enabled “Hey Siri”, re-trained and same thing still happens. I see Siri has had issues the last few years, mine may have quit after this last update. Get me used to using it then it breaks. Great! Apple forcing an upgrade?!!!

I have been having the same issue for the last two weeks just trying to send a simple text by voice. I had 5 bars of signal at the time so I know it isn't a coverage issue.
"Hey Siri, send a text to [name]"
"What do you want to say to [name]?"
"On my way, be there in a few minutes"
Siri icon at the bottom of the screen changes to small, spinning polygons for about 10 seconds, followed by:
"I'm sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later." Then Siri closes.
