Random Notes sustaining in GarageBand

I just got a brand new m2 Mac mini and I loaded up GarageBand, I have an Arturia key lab 88 midi keyboard. While playing random notes will sustain and will not stop until a different software instrument is selected or I click the revert button in the bottom left. I reset my midi drivers and restarted my Mac, I even updated garage band but nothing seems to be working. I tested my keyboard with a different software to make sure there wasn't a problem with any of my keys and it worked just fine. So it seems to be a problem with GarageBand.

Interesting. I've just bought the same Mini M2 Pro (refurb) base configuration, and the ArturiaKeylab 61 MKII, with a VOLT I interface for audio and am using an old Mackie Universal control surface. I haven't tried GarageBand but am having the same problem, with the same resolution as you've tried, which isn't really a solution since the problem continues. All current versions of software, system software and firmware. I also have Reason here, tried that out, and am not having the problem with it. Someone suggested using the MIDI ports on the keyboard using a MIDI to USB cable, which solved their problem and I tried using one I have here, but all the keyboard sent then was DAW commands rather than notes and I haven't seen anything in Arturia's documentation on how to handle that so far. It might be worth trying if you can get your hands on one of those cables. Lekato sells them on Amazon here in Canada. This thread seems to have come up at various intervals over the years, and I've tried what has been suggested without success so far.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Apple, if you're looking your thoughts would be appreciated as well, since the issue seems to be unique to your sequencing/DAW software.
