All of the answers say the same thing.

SnapChat banned the device

Only SnapChat can remove the ban.

We cannot unban your device. Apple cannot unban your device. Only Snapchat can unban your device – and if they banned it in the first place, that probably means they want nothing to do with you – whether their action is fair, or not. Try to get into Snapchat on another phone, and they may ban it too.

This will not change no matter how much you beg or how many times you say "Please."

If you are going to beg, the people to whom you should direct your begging at are the ones running Snapchat, if there even is a way of contacting a human being there.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to appeal the temporary disabling of my Snapchat account. I understand that there might have been a violation of the platform's terms of service, and I sincerely apologize for any unintentional breach that

may have occurred

Appealing to us, or to Apple, will do you no good.

Snapchat disabled your account, and only Snapchat can enable it again – if they choose to do so. Neither we nor Apple have any control over Snapchat's actions – and I am pretty sure that Snapchat support people do not hang out and take appeals here.

How do you fix it?

You don't fix it unless Snapchat wants to fix it.

Whether Snapchat is being reasonable or not, whether they are easy to contact or not, they control these bans – and only they can lift them.

Neither the phone manufacturer (Apple, Samsung, LG, etc.) nor the operating system provider (Apple, Google) is in a position of being able to lift the ban.

I was on Snapchat and then ex out of it and then I woke up and I was banned and I want my device to be unbanned on Snapchat if that’s fine because I need that for family emergency’s and I don’t know why it would just ban me out of nowhere

You're out of luck posting here as Apple cannot help you. You were banned by SnapChat, so that is who you should be contacting for the answer. You will also learn quite a bit of information by reading the posts and could have found your answer much quicker that way.

I guess you didn't read any of the 15 pages of this thread. Had you done so, you'd already know no one here on this user to user only forum, nor at Apple has anything to do with you being banned by Snapchat. You'll have to contact them yourself. This has nothing to do with Apple.

Here’s a breakdown of the process:

Understand the Ban: An SS06 error indicates that Snapchat has banned your device due to suspected abuse or repeated violations of their Community Guidelines.

In-App Appeal:

Open the Snapchat app and attempt to log in.

If you see an “Appeal Decision” option on the pop-up screen, tap it to initiate the appeal process.

Clearly explain why you believe the ban was a mistake and provide any relevant information.

Wait for a Response: Snapchat will review your appeal and notify you of their decision.

Please note that there’s no way to bypass the ban or change the device’s identification.

If you’re unsure about your login details, you can try resetting your password through the Snapchat Accounts Portal.

They ban my snap chat from my phone I will I open a new account with the phone

SnapChat is well aware of users who try and circumvent their ban by creating a new account. You would not be the first one who had tried that and failed, as I am sure everyone else on this post has also tried it before they even posted. They banned you for a reason and you will need to contact them to see if they want to allow you to use their service again.

The iPhone itself does not restrict access to third-party apps unless specific permissions or conditions are unmet. However, if a third-party app blocks a device due to violations such as improper usage or bypassing community guidelines, that restriction is imposed by the app developers, not Apple. Apple has no control over decisions made by third-party apps regarding account or device bans.

Any social networking app typically bans devices or users for violating its community guidelines or terms of service. Some common reasons for bans may include:

  1. Creating multiple accounts on the same device for a social media platform can lead to the device being flagged or banned.Creating multiple account from the same device.
  2. If one account is banned, creating additional accounts from the same device may be seen as an attempt to circumvent the ban, leading to further restrictions or a device-level ban.
  3. Social media platforms monitor activity patterns to prevent abuse, spam, and violations of community guidelines. Multiple accounts originating from the same device can trigger automated systems as suspicious behavior, particularly if the accounts engage in spamming, bot-like behavior, or policy violations.
  4. Sharing explicit or inappropriate content, nudity, violence, or hate speech can lead to a ban.
  5. Platforms track IP addresses and use device fingerprinting techniques to identify and monitor devices. Creating and switching between multiple accounts from a single device can raise red flags.
  6. Engaging in spamming activities, sending unsolicited messages, or using third-party apps to automate actions on the app can result in a ban.
  7. Creating fake accounts, impersonating others, or using someone else's identity without permission violates their policies.
  8. Sharing or promoting illegal activities, including drug sales, harassment, or threats, can lead to a ban.
  9. Harassing, bullying, or intimidating other users can result in severe consequences, including a ban.
  10. Any breach of app's terms of service or community guidelines can lead to device or account bans.

A few social networking apps have automated systems and human moderators that detect and take action against accounts or devices that violate these policies. Depending on the severity of the violation, the ban can range from temporary suspension to permanent removal of the account or device from the platform.
