How do you get your device unbanned from Snapchat?

No one in this user to user forum or at Apple can help you.

Snapchat is the only one who can unban you, contact them for help.

That happens when the rules to use the site have been broken. It may be a temporary ban or a permanent ban based on the severity. Nothing Apple can do about that. Only SnapChat has the power to give you another chance your not. New phone would not get your account back and attempting to sign into it will also ban that phone.

Bummer. But why are you telling us this? If you bothered to read any page of this thread, you'd already know no one here can help you. Apple can't help you. Only Snapchat can help you. And a SSO6 ban is a device ban, which is usually permanent. But you have to take that up with Snapchat on your own.

NO, you won't. You've been banned and if you tried to do that you'll end up banned for life. Besides, your device has most likely been banned as well. Read the posts in this thread, where on every page what you need to do has been explained over and over and over and over. Basically, ONLY Snapchat can unban you IF they want to unban you. This has nothing to do with Apple in any way.

You have to contact Snapchat. Apple doesn't own it. And we are all users here on this user to user only forum.

Did you read the thread? If so, you might have learned that

• Nobody from Apple will contact you. For the most part, I believe that Apple doesn't even participate in the forums except to moderate them.

• Neither we nor Apple can lift a Snapchat ban of any sort. This is a matter between you and Snapchat.

• Snapchat's Web site says "If your device has been banned, Snapchat Support cannot unban it for you." It doesn't sound to me like Snapchat cares if you "need" Snapchat or not.

Sad to say, but the previous owner of the phone may have sold it precisely because they did something to incur a Snapchat device ban, and were hoping to "solve" their problem by dumping their phone on someone else. (That person might soon have learned that Snapchat was as quick to ban their new device, as to ban the old one.)

It could have been worse.

Your friend could have inadvertently purchased a stolen iPhone that subsequently became Activation Locked, or blacklisted by the cellular carriers, or both – turning it into a "brick". At least it sounds like you have a phone that works as a phone (for now), even if Snapchat has imposed a device ban that makes it useless for Snapchat.

Nothing Apple can do about that, it is up to SnapChat and completely their choice on whether they want you to use their service again. Sometimes they will give you another chance and other times it will be a permanent ban and will make no difference on what device you use to try and connect to your account. In fact, attempting to circumvent their ban by using another device may lock that device out too.

Nobody here can help you. If Snapchat banned you, only they can unban you. If they feel like it – and I get the impression that where device bans are concerned, often they don't.

Contact Snapchat, this has nothing to do with Apple.

You can’t “fix it” and make a new account with the same phone if that phone is banned. Only Snapchat can lift a device or account ban - if you can contact them and if you can convince them to do so.

Your issue is not with Apple and there is nothing they can do about it. You will need to contact SnapChat as they are the ones that have banned you.

This is not an Apple issue, you will have to contact Snapchat and ask to get it unbanned

This has nothing to do with Apple.

You clearly didn't read past the first post, did you? If you had, you'd have understood by now, Apple didn't ban you, Apple can't unban you and only Snapchat can help you. So no, no one here or at Apple can do anything for you. Contact Snapchat for help. Apple has NOTHING to do with Snapchat.
