Memory upgrade on a - 2020 iMac is it possible

‘Is it possible to upgrade the ram memory to 32GB? My iMac Retina 5K 27 inch 2020 model currently has just 8GB of memory which is proving too little for the graphics work I want to do.

The memory bank has two of the four spaces filled with Memory 2667MHz DDR4 leaving two spaces empty.

Is it possible to replace this with 4 x 8GB processors?

also is it possible to remove the stand for the back of the computer?’

Yes, you can remove the two 4GB modules, giving you room for four 8GB modules.

No. That feature was sacrificed on the Altar of Minimalist Design to create the "thin-case" iMacs that started in 2012. You can get VESA-type mount the grasp the existing stand without requiring its removal.
