Do I need iTunes if I have iTunes Match?

Do I need I-tunes if I have I-tunes match?

Your comparing Apple's to oranges here. iTunes and iTunes Match are 2 different things.

iTunes is an application, software, and its free.

iTunes Match is a subscription service you pay for.

You use the iTunes application to access the iTunes Match subscription service on a computer.

On current Macs the iTunes software was replaced by the Music App. You can use the Music App to access your iTunes Match subscription.

Are you perhaps referring to the Apple Music subscription service rather than iTunes?

Like iTunes Match the Apple Music service is a subscription service you pay for, and offers the same features as iTunes Match plus access to the Apple Music song and album catalog to stream and listen to.

Again, you use the iTunes application or the Apple music App to access the Apple Music subscription service.
