Importing books on CDs to Books

Has anyone figured out how to do this yet? Or is this still an issue?

To recap: Like other users, I own a number of audiobooks on CDs that I have transferred onto the computer. I would like to import these books into Books so that I can listen to them conveniently, but Books insists on loading each CD as a separate book. Worse, if the CDs were not consistently named, they won't play in the correct order. I have tried copying the individual sound files into a single directory, but Books STILL loads each CD separately.
