yes, Apple should do something for their valuable customer. provide an update for iPhone X and other users or you are forcing customers to buy new phone.

You ARE NOT writing Apple here. This is a user to user only forum. Who you should be writing is your banking institution. Apple had NOTHING to do with their decision to not support phones which aren't capable of running iOS 17. Apple doesn't own them or have any control over which iOS versions they are willing to support. Complain to them. There is NOTHING Apple can do to help you. If you are hoping Apple will magically permit iPhones which can't run iOS 17 to be able to update to that version, it's simply NOT going to happen. Phones which can't support iOS 17 can't because they lack the hardware required to be updated that high.

There is nothing for Apple to do.

UPI is not owned or controlled by Apple.

UPI made the decision to not support older versions of iOS.

Also, this is a user to user support forum.

Apple is not here and doesn’t read or respond to any posts here, especially when it has nothing to do with them.

Stop wasting your time posting here and go bother UPI about their decision to stop providing you service.

My iPhone X not support upi app

UPI apps no longer support the iPhone X. It appears that NPCI mandated that all UPI payment apps require iOS 17 or higher – perhaps because they wanted to take advantage of a new feature that would help them crack down on UPI payment fraud – so much that they were willing to cut off service to people with older phones.

You cannot update an iPhone X to iOS 17. If you want to continue to use UPI payment apps, you will need a newer phone.

It is not expected from a trusted company like Apple. Either they could not know the changes or they are forcing customers to buy new set with higher version. Both are not expected from Apple. I hope they will come out with some solution for the users of iPhone x or lower version. Actually I am unable to use G Pay now and facing acute difficulties. If I need to buy a set now, I shall not go for Apple, that is sure.

Apple has absolutely NOTHING to do with your UPI application. Complain to the UPI app developer who is the one who has chosen to NOT support iPhones which can't be updated to iOS 17 or higher. And blaming Apple for not brining iOS 17 to a phone released in 2017, fully 7 years ago is also wrong. The fact is a phone released 7 years ago doesn't have the processing power to run iOS 17. Either don't use the app since your UPI App developer no longer supports your phone or buy a newer, more modern iPhone. It's that simple.

You do not seem to understand that the decision was made by UPI. Apple was not involved with this in any way.

The developers at UPI could have very easily chosen to continue to support iOS 16, but instead they chose to abandon support for your phone.

Your issue is with UPI.....not Apple.

It is UPI that is forcing you to buy a new phone if you want to run their apps.
