Vision Pro Country lock - Temporary or forever?

I live in the Netherlands and am considering driving across the border next month to get myself a Vision Pro in Germany. On several places I read about the downsides of importing the device from the US in the last couple of months; most of them because of a country lock.

People seem to need to create a separate Apple ID for the country they bought the Vision Pro at in order to install apps. I'd be fine with working with my device like that for a while, but my question is, is that country lock embedded in the hardware, or will it be patched in the future, so I can just reset it and use it with my own Apple ID as soon as they start selling in the Netherlands?

I doubt it, but at the end of the day it's everyone's best guess,

this is a user helping users forum, so sort of like asking for advice from other customers in a real apple store

so unless someone who bought it in USA at first, and lives in a country where it has since been released, can give you confirmation it will just be guesswork.
