HomeKit keeps resetting thermostat

My Ecobee thermostat switches back from cool to heat every day, it does not matter if I change the setting on the app or on the thermostat itself. The diagnostics from Ecobee show that HomeKit sends an instruction every night at 22:50 to switch the Thermostat to Heat. I looked in my HomeKit settings there is no such setting recorded in the application. Please help me solve for this, I just need to get that daily instruction setting removed from HomeKit.

Look in the Ecobee app to see if you have a schedule set to occur, also look in the thermostat itself and delete any that you see, keep in mind you may need to look at each day of the week. The Ecobee features Heat, Cool, Auto and Off. If it’s in Auto this may cause it to switch back and forth between Heat and cool- the colour scheme on the display is blue and orange if Auto is set.

This may be a malfunction in the Ecobee itself. It kept happening on mine awhile ago. Likely following one of their pushed firmware updates. I could not find a schedule for it because it never lets you delete Sleep so I had to alter the Comfort Settings (which decides what temperature the schedule will use and not so much switching from cool to heat- it will use the temperature for whichever was already running)

Check the Home App has no Automations or scenes that are including the thermostat.
