Several Word docs are inaccessible in my iCloud drive. However, their path shows up as ~/Library/Mobile Documents. Can I access them in that library and copy or move them to iCloud? I don't believe I deleted them, but obviously I did something that caused this. I only need to access one of the documents. I have used spotlight searches and none of these documents appear. Any thoughts?

Yes. I tried to open them from the "recent" files in Word, but I get the message "This document is either deleted or not currently accessible." The path is: MacIntosh HD -- Users -- my user name -- Library -- Mobile Documents -- iCloud Drive -- Personal. However, when I look in my iCloud drive, the documents are not listed.
Have you tried to open any of them. They are the same as what was copied to the iCloud
