Do you mean to repeat the song from start to finish until you stop the player, or are you asking how to play part of the song in repeating fashion (i.e. a loop)?

If you want to repeat the complete song, turn on Repeat 1. I'm not sure of the exact place to find the option on your particular player but basically, look on the Now Playing screen. If you do not see the repeat and shuffle icons immediately, drag the screen upwards and see if they are shown beneath the main play controls. The Repeat icon looks like two arrows with each arrowhead pointing the other arrowhead's tail. (The Shuffle icon is two crossed arrows) Once you find the additional controls, tap the Repeat button twice:

  • first time puts the player into Repeat mode (when it will start the same playlist from the beginning once the list has been played through fully)
  • the second time puts the player into Repeat 1 mode (which causes the player to play the same song from star to finish over and over again until you stop it). Usually, a small 1 appears in the arrows icon to indicate that the player is in Repeat 1 mode

However, if you mean that you want to loop part of the song to be played repeatedly, there is no option on any iPod to do that (as far as I know).
