My Apple ID and password are constantly asked for iCloud backup on my Mac mini

My Apple ID and password are constantly asked for iCloud backup on my mini mac. This is a never ending loop and it doesn't seem back accept the Apple ID and password. I have shutdown the computer restarted it. All my other devices backup with no problem just the mini mac.

Please post a screenshot of the message using the Image Insertion tool.




iCloud can only fully backup iOS iPhones and iPads. It can not backup macOS devices like your Mac mini.

To fully backup your Mac mini, you need to get an external backup drive and use Time Machine.

Or.... optionally use third party cloning software like CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper.
