Apple Music is replacing a song's source. Saying it's from a different album.

I recently looked through my playlist on Apple Music and notice it replacing song sources. For instance, I have Piano Man by Billy Joel, and when I first put it in Apple Music years ago, I uploaded it from my own source...yet when I look at the info of it or it's playing on AppleTV, it says it's part of a "best of" album of "hits of the 70s" or something. NOT the original album of Piano Man from 1973. It has done this on several songs.

I go back and check the song on the App on my Mac and it says it's fine. But that's not the info that's showing on AppleTV. The album artwork is all wrong and it's from some compilation "best of" album. I would say about 25% of my songs are like that now.

Had the same issue. Ultimately, had to delete my ripped version, from my own collection, done years ago into iTunes, and download Apple’s version. Some tracks can never be straightened out if not in Apple Music. Sucks I know. But the advantages of Apple Music’s ever growing library won out. They do have us hooked though.
