Where is the Home Activity Log?

I'm trying to troubleshoot why a device keeps turning on unexpectedly. According to View smart home accessory activity in the Home app - Apple Support , I'm supposed to go to Home Settings->Safety&Security and there should be a way to turn Activity history on and off, and read the logs.

I'm the Resident (Owner) of the Home system here, and I see neither. Has it been removed? Can I find these logs somewhere else? How do I troubleshoot this?

Thanks in advance.

Based on the article you linked to, the Activity log is available if you have certain devices:

If Activity History is turned on, and you have smart home accessories like door locks and alarm systems in your home, activities like locking and unlocking your front door are recorded and available for you to view in the Home app.

Do you have any of those class of devices? I don't and I don't have the option to view past activity. There is no activity log for things like lights or speakers.

If true, that’s unfortunate. So, there are no logs whatsoever, I guess. In troubleshooting this, I see that I’m shown as the owner, but don’t have all the privileges of an owner, and am unable to invite people to the home anymore. I’m wondering if it has to do with my Home account showing me for the main apple id and my purchase id as the media id for my home.

I’ll keep digging around, i guess.

Thanks for reading that line a little more closely than I apparently did, Idris.
