I’m trying to share albums on my MAC, but when I try to log onto my iCloud account it keeps telling me to enter my login information even when I enter the right password. I just updated the software and it’s still keeps doing it.

Using the same credentials that you logged into Apple Communities, log into icloud.com with them. You Apple ID is used across Apple Ecosystem.
