Logic Pro song added to Music on Mac but not showing on iPhone

Hi there, new Mac Mini and Logic Pro user here (but long time iPhone user). I want to add some of my new creations to my iPhone so I can play to my friends and let them laugh at me. I have worked out how to add to the Music app on the Mac, easy, but nothing is showing on the Music app on my iPhone. I don’t have a Music subscription- is that the obvious reason it won’t work ? I was hoping my own songs uploaded to Music could be done without paying for the wider subscription which I don’t want/need

Any ideas for a workaround, or other suggestions for the easiest way that other people are adding a Logic projects to be able to play on iPhone etc outside of the Logic environment.

Sorry if these are obvious questions - as I say, I’m new to both Mac and Logic !

thanks

Thanks for this - I had assumed that any songs I add to Music would sync to my phone automatically/through the cloud, your reply prompted me to phsyically connect my phone to my Mac and used Finder as you suggested. All works now, have synced and can see my Logic songs in the Music app on the phone for the first time. More clunky than I expected but good to know how to do it. Many thanks.
