Is it possible to update a 2008 Mac mini so that I can still use the iTunes Store?

Is it possible to update this Mac mini where I can still use the iTunes Store? I have music that has been purchased but it is not on the 2008 Mac mini. Thank you.

MacTracker indicates that there were no 2008 Mac minis.

A Mac mini (Mid 2007) can run Mac OS X 10.7.5 – but not Mountain Lion or higher. That probably isn't going to be good enough to let you connect to the iTunes Store.

If you have a newer Mac that has access to your iTunes Store purchases, you can drag-and-drop purchased songs from its iTunes Library onto a USB flash drive, transfer the USB flash drive to the Mid 2007 Mac mini, then manually import the songs from the USB flash drive into iTunes.
