Windows (chrome / edge) does not play Compressor m3u8 streams

Hello,

Lately I am testing own hosted videos. I use latest compressor (4.8) to prepare HTTP streams. It works without problem on Safari (Mac / iOS / ipadOS). But the same https address on windows machine presents player with black screen and Chrome console shows error:

Unchecked runtime.lastError: A listener indicated an asynchronous response by returning true, but the message channel closed before a response was received

Same behavior on Edge.

I was looking in Google for solution but could not find anything helpful.

Some answers were mentioning cross-site reference, but all my links are relative and within the same domain.

Do you have any advice?
