IOS 18 Apple Music Keeps Crashing

Apple Music is crashing after the update of macOS Sequoia 15.0.1 , Music still freezes for a while and crashing when listening and loading of music takes more time or too slow and dolby atmos through HDMI not working

Yes! So for me it lags then shuts down. Anytime I enter a song I got the search bar in a playlist it doesn’t play the song. It’s so frustrating! I hope they fix it with iOS 18.1

Same here. It is now crashing on my Mac Studio also and Airplay is disconnecting every 5 or 10 minutes. Pandora here I come!

Same thing here. Virtually not usable. Pretty sad for a paid service that crashes, hangs, lags, etc. Apple knows, but will never admit. Reminds me of a Windows product. Also causes all 3 of my ipads to get very hot. Looking at alternative music services. I live for my music. Lesson learned. Don’t be so quick to update software.

Yep, this is happening to me too. It’s extremely irritating when it happens multiple times a day and even multiple times in a given hour sometimes. I keep checking for updates every day but still nothing to fix this major issue with their service/ios.

I am having the same issue. I have a downloaded playlist and keeps crashing just as it finished a song and goes to the next song it crash. I need to close the app and restart it again. I don’t want to switch to another music subscription. They need to fix it ASAP

Good news! My iPad Air running iOS 15.3 is running Apple Music app perfectly and is able to Airplay all over my house. It only took two hours to download all of my music to it and now I am set. SHOULD WE HAVE TO RESORT TO OLD DEVICES TO FIX THE MISTAKES OF APPLE?

I’ve been having issues with Atmos audio and lossless audio on my Apple TV 4K. Many times, when I’m listening to a song in Dolby Atmos/lossless, it stops abruptly about 30-50 seconds before it ends and doesn’t finish the song. I’ve noticed that when I switch to just lossless and disable Dolby Atmos, the problem goes away. On the other hand, when I switch to just Dolby Atmos and disable lossless, the song plays perfectly. I haven’t noticed any issues with my iPhone or AirPods Pro 2—it’s just with my Apple TV 4K. All my devices are updated to the latest versions, including the paired HomePods. I’ve even rebooted and reinstalled tvOS 18 on my Apple TV 4K, but the issue persists.

In addition, when I'm listenting through mi AirPods, when a notification arrives, music remains silenced for a several time! even if the whole phone it's silenced, the notification ruins the listening experience. With the other issues you've mentionted, i'm unsuscribed to apple music. All of this appeared with ios 18 & 18.1

Yet the price of the subscription keeps increasing but I can’t access it

I had a fix but it wasn’t permanent. I disabled cross play and the bug is happening less frequently than it was.
