Can I use my UPEK Fingerprint reader on my Mac Mini and / or my Mac Book?
Upek merged with AuthenTec back in 2010, and AuthenTec was aquired by Apple in 2012. So your readers are pretty old and there may well be no support for them after this many years. I can't find any source for drivers still active, anyway. Sorry, probably time to put that reader into recycling.

check their site, if they have drivers/software for macOS then maybe
though as far as I know then the only supported way to login to macOS by fingerprint is apples own solutions
