How to fix iPhone 16 Pro Max Freezing issues?

Not to jinx it... but the latest attempt seems to have worked (restored using iCloud). Not currently experiencing any lockups or obvious performance issues. Fingers crossed.

Has anyone had issues with direct transfer from a 16 to another 16? Was told to get replacement from apple support but really worried I’m gonna have the same issue again.

I returned my 16 Plus and will get a simple 16 tomorrow. I’m curious if that will solve the problem.

My iPhone 16 pro max, just went 6 feet under, black. Started frezzing in the morning, did the buttons choreography to force reset, until it finally the screen died.

I found iPhone 16 Max Pro seems to be extremely buggy. If this is Apple’s starship phone it seems to be a massive lemon. I wish I had my 13 Pro back.

My phone froze as soon as I changed a touch setting. It froze for an hour and nothing worked. Android, here I come.

I’m having the exact same issue. Did you figure out how to resolve it?

This is March 31, 2025 and my new 16 Pro Max did the exact same thing. Could not open any app nor could I close any app nor would the device all a forced shutdown.
