Can only connect with Apple Watch paired. 16 Pro not finding other active devices on Bluetooth

Had the same problem. iPhone 16 Pro Max connected to Apple Watch and Pioneer receiver in my car. Couldn’t even see any other Bluetooth devices. Tried standard Bluetooth fixes - didn’t work. Saw a video that suggested the following: Go to Settings - Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions. Turned on and then off the Content & Privacy Restrictions slider. Same issue, 2 cars, boat & head phones won't pair. I have to use my old 12 pro max to use in 1/2 of my devises.What the **** Apple ?? I spend a fortune on a new 16 pro max, why I ask....
Yup, my boat won’t connect, 1 of 3 cars won’t connect & an expensive set of Bose headphones won’t connect. Apple… are you listening. Last count on this format 607 complaints.

The phone does not connect to the Pixel Watch. As a first-time iPhone user, I am dissatisfied with it. I prefer to sell the phone rather than buy an Apple Watch; Identifying issues on a daily basis when compared to Google Pixel, I think I will return to using a Pixel phone.
