I downloaded ios18 and now have no edit button on my photos in the gallery when I touch a photo. How do I get it back so I can use third party editing apps?

In iOS 18 Photos, the edit button is the right icon in the cluster of three in the middle at the bottom, below the row of thumbnails. The icon looks like three sliders (three horizontal lines with a circle on each). Do you not see that icon?
Yeah I’m not updating now. I don’t want the new one, another way to screw us. I can’t even find my photos never mind edit them.
It only gives the option to crop and filter
When you hit the three dots go up to mark up and you will see the edit tool It sucks as I can't do anything with fonts size or different fonts. I am going to scream!
