iPhone 16 Pro unexpectedly shutdown, and the screen became unresponsive.

I've had my phone for 2 days and I've had very few issues but just now it turned itself off and on again and now the touchscreen is COMPLETELY unresponsive. I just cannot use it at all. I can't restart it. I tried to force restart with the buttons but it told me it would call the emergency services so I quickly put a stop to that. Is anyone else experiencing this?? (and found a fix?)

You didn't use the correct procedure for Forced Restart

Quickly press and release the volume up button
Then immediately quickly press and release the volume down button
Then immediately press and KEEP HOLDING the side power button. Keep holding it past the swipe to power down and KEEP HOLDING it until the Apple Logo appears (can take several seconds), THEN LET GO
Once your phone restarts, you'll enter your passcode to get back in
