Blocked them but it still says delievered on my macbook!?!?

So due to unfortunate circumstances I blocked a contact and in my times of anger I have been texting that blocked contact just to get my anger out, they dont show as delivered on my phone (Iphone 15 ProMax) however on my laptop it shows up as delivered. My friend and I tried to block eachother as well and test it out and somehow our texts were both going through to eachother.. I am a bit worried now.. Is he still getting my texts even though I have him blocked???
