Doorbell notification not live and only showing static image

Since updating the Apple TV 4K to tvOS 18 I’ve noticed that it turned off doorbell notification when pressed, as well as activity notifications. I turned these switches back on however when the doorbell is rung of the doorbell detects activity outside while I get the notifications in each case only a static image is displayed. It used to present a live stream. Another oddity is that when I press to bring full screen it says it’s live but still only shows the static image. If I put it Picture in Picture from this view then it updates to the live feed from the doorbell.

Anyone experienced anything like this? Any advice? I’ve restarted ATV and doorbell few times now. No change in behavior.

Same here.

I’ve also noticed that if you open the notification and then try and change to a different camera the frame rate of all the cameras drops to a level they’re unusable and only a restart fixes it.

Yes - I’ve been able to reproduce this exactly. I did call Apple support today also but they have no fix for this as persists even after a reset of the ATV so looks like Apple fixing the bug is the only resolution. With that said I was advised to feedback using this link to help get the issues resolved. Feedback - Apple TV App - Apple

At least it’s reproducible.
