Music does not allow lyrics for songs

importing a tune from an old CD to Music in Sonoma 14.6.1 and it plays perfectly. When the words are added and click ok and then when I go and reopen"get-info" the words are gone. Manually typing or pasting they will not stay. Anyone know a trick to get Music to retain lyrics?

I have used iTunes and music for more than ten years and the past year have encountered playlist renaming, importing, and now lyric issues. I plan to upgrade to Sequoia after a month or so and it be glad news to hear that Music has been fixed to eliminate the issues that have developed with the program over the past year or so.
