How to change to a different guitar amplifier in Logic Pro in mid song playback Can not find automation control for this? Obvious tone and everything else OK but no amp change in automation?

Does Logic have a control in automation to switch a guitar amplifier for say British amp to any other amp in automation page

All else such as tone and reverb etc is no brainer but I cannot find support to switch to a different amp

I know about pasting to another track and assigning another amp there

I'm trying withing a song to change the amp same as changing a pedal by automation

thanks

  1. You could save two user presets, then go to Key Commands > Edit Assingments and assign a midi note to Next Patch, Plug-in Setting... and Previous Patch, Plug-in Setting...
  2. Or the alternative I would use, Duplicate Track (New Track with Duplicate Settings), move the regions you want have an other amp sound and set the sound in the amp plugin.
