WiFi not connecting after iOS 18 update

I spent 3 days with Apple support and after the issue was escalated, Apple sent me a new 15 pro max with IOS 17.6.1 and my problems are over. I won’t be upgrading the IOS until it is stable !!

My 15 has the same issue with both 2.4 and 5GHz.

Not sure what happened, but after editing my reply and stating that I would copy the text to the original post, it became impossible to edit both posts.

I deleted my VPN and I connected right away.

I found a fix for my TMobile ios 18 issue!

Under settings

VPN manage VPN

Option to Delete VPN

turn iPhone off

Turn iPhone on

Wifi works now after days without it!

I wasn’t using it anyway. Not sure what to do if you want to use it. Call TMobile, I guess.

that makes sense. i changed my ps5 to 5gHz and i couldn’t connect to wifi. went to 2.4gHz and it did. but i read iphone 16 pro works on all frequencies. but i still can’t connect to my ps5

My iPhone came right after following this advice. Seems to be back to normal. Turned both back on as soon as reconnected and so far so good.

Will this work with a different VPN? I use protonmail vpn. I did turn it off, but still not connecting.

….. also seems I am having issues with iMessage going through my Proton VPN. What is going on? Any thoughts?

I had the same problem. I removed my VPN profile ( I have Nordvpn), reinstalled a new profile and the problem disappeared. Hope that helps someone.
