iPad Mail Not Downloading Attachments (PDFs) After iOS 18 Update

Hello,

I recently updated my iPad to iOS 18, and since the update, I’ve been having trouble downloading email attachments, especially PDFs, in the Mail app. Whenever I try to download a PDF attachment, it either doesn’t load or gets stuck indefinitely. I’ve tried restarting my device and checking my internet connection, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else experienced this problem after the iOS 18 update? Are there any solutions or settings I should check to fix this?

Yes, I’m having the same problem. It’s beyond annoying. I’ve tried restarting, switching internet connections, closing and reopening the app. Does anyone know of a fix? The really frustrating thing is that sometimes the files will then randomly go ahead and download almost instantly. Then the mail app will revert back to where no attachments will download for an indefinite period of time.

Yes, I’m having the same problem of not seeing a pdf file that was attached to a email sent from my iPad with iOS 18 though it shows up fine on my computer. Anyone figure out a fix to this?

Yes, I am having the same issue on my iPad Pro iOS 18.0.1

when i tap the document to load the PDF if just blinks and says tap to download again.
