Creating a booklet in pages on MAC
I am trying to create a booklet using 8 x 11 pages landscape to fold in half and staple. Need to type on half of the landscaped page. what is the best way to do this?

In the Pages Settings : Rulers panel, enable the following. Use your own color preferences for Guides:
In your landscape Pages document, View menu > Show Rulers. Now, you can drag a guide from the vertical ruler to the mid-point of the landscape page. To the left of that, insert a Text box appropriately sized to constrain your typing to the half of the landscaped page where you wish to type. Or two text boxes on either side of that guide.
