My mac mini 2018 does not want to transfer files via smb with mac os 15 I get error code 8058. Do you know what you can do about it?
Error code 8058 is most likely a bad finder.plist file.
Start with this...
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Apple hid the Users' Library folders...
Method 1:
From the Finder, select the Go menu at top of the screen, and choose Go to Folder.
In the window that opens, enter ~/Library/Preferences, and click Go.
delete the finder.plist file

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
Once I removed this, the copy operation went smoothly with no error
