Just updated to ios18.0 and now 18.0.1. if I haven't received or sent an email recently it is pulling really old email addresses that were updated in my contacts.

Remove your email account on both devices and re-enter them with the appropriate option. If it is a Hotmail or Outlook email use the Microsoft Exchange on your Mac and the Outlook.com option on the iPhone.
