"Make a checklist" in iCloud Notes in PC shows only black squares instead of "empty-circle" bullets

Hello Apple Community,

I happened to encounter this issue and very much hope to hear your hints and advice to fix it. I have been using Notes from icloud.com on my PC to create checklists from it, and everything was fine until yesterday. Normally a checklist in Notes will give us empty-circle bullets, and one would just click again on these "empty-circle" bullets to obtain "full-circle" bullets for accomplished tasks. However, I happened to receive these black squares instead of circular bullets, and I don't know how to fix them. On my iPhone, everything works fine and without any problem, e.g. they do not show any black squares. In contrast, when I open Notes on cloud.com, those circular bullets that I see in my iPhone become black squares. I have attached a screenshot here for your reference.
